CARGUARD® CBC005 smart car battery charger, 12V/24V, 10A/5A, with LCD display and repair function

Charge and test your battery with the CARGUARD® CBC005 smart charger. Designed for 12V and 24V batteries with a capacity of 2–200 Ah, it delivers a charging current of up to 10A at 12V and 5A at 24V. It has dedicated modes for car batteries, motorcycle batteries and AGM, GEL, EFB and LiFePO batteries.

The LCD display shows the voltage, charging current, ambient temperature and charge level. The integrated handle makes it easy to carry, and the compact design allows storage in a garage or workshop.

Benefits and functions

• Four operating modes: Auto, AGM/LiFePO, Moto and Repair.

• Wide compatibility: conventional lead-acid, maintenance-free, AGM, GEL, EFB and LiFePO batteries, depending on the selected mode.

• Repair function: attempts to recover old batteries, batteries left unused for a long time or batteries that no longer charge normally. Results depend on the condition of the battery.

• Battery check without mains connection: displays the voltage and estimated charge level when the clamps are connected to the battery.

• Automatic temperature compensation in Auto mode: the winter function activates below 10°C and the summer function above 28°C, adjusting the charging voltage.

• Built-in protection: against short circuit, reverse polarity, overheating and overcharging.

• Status indicators: show charging progress, completion and any errors.

Technical specifications

Important: Use the device indoors, in a dry and well-ventilated area. Select the mode that matches the battery type and voltage. The winter and summer modes are available only in Auto mode.
