The dongle enables the inverter to connect to Huawei’s intelligent PV management system, FusionSolar. In total, the Huawei dongle supports the connection of up to 10 devices. Supported standards include 2G, 3G, and 4G, so wireless communication is possible almost anywhere — Huawei recommends using it whenever reception is stable. In terms of operation, there are practically no limitations. The dongle operates within a temperature range of -30 °C to +65 °C and tolerates relative humidity from 5% to 95%. It is protected to IP65 and has a typical power consumption of 3.5 W.

Once correctly connected, the module provides direct feedback to the operator via an LED indicator — useful not only during commissioning. The compact design of the Huawei Smart DongleA-03 4G is also worth mentioning; including the housing, the device measures only 130 × 48 × 33 mm and weighs 90 g.
