The Huawei SmartGuard-63A-T0 is a three-phase backup solution designed for residential buildings, providing reliable power supply and fast response to grid outages. The system enables comprehensive home energy planning, helping homeowners maintain sufficient backup power and optimize self-consumption while effectively managing unexpected events.

SmartGuard regulates inverter operation under both normal and unstable grid conditions, seamlessly switching between grid-connected (on-grid) and off-grid modes. During normal grid operation, the inverter supplies both primary and secondary loads. In the event of a power outage, the system switches to off-grid mode, supplying only backup loads until the grid is restored.

The backup solution includes PV strings, Huawei Smart String ESS energy storage, Huawei three-phase inverters, SmartGuard, and primary loads.

Equipped with EMMA, Huawei’s Energy Management Assistant, the SmartGuard-63A-T0 provides intelligent load management. By integrating smart loads such as SG Ready heat pumps and smart switches, users can define PV energy priorities for different devices, maximizing the use of available solar energy.
