This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies are used by the B2B platform www.carguard-b2b.com (the "Platform"), operated by GLOBIZ GROUP SRL, for what purpose, how long they are kept and how you can give or withdraw your consent. It supplements the Privacy Policy (GDPR page).
1. Who uses cookies

2. What cookies and similar technologies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website saves in your browser and reads on subsequent visits. Similar technologies include the browser's local storage (localStorage and sessionStorage) and pixels (pieces of code that send an event to a server). Everything this policy says about cookies also applies, as appropriate, to these technologies.
By duration, cookies can be:
- session cookies — deleted automatically when you close the browser;
- persistent cookies — kept in the browser until they expire or until you delete them manually.
By origin, cookies can be:
- first-party — set by the Platform (the carguard-b2b.com domain);
- third-party — set by another provider whose service is integrated into the Platform (e.g. Meta).
Cookies do not contain viruses and cannot access other information on your device. We do not store passwords, card data or addresses in readable form in cookies.
3. Legal basis
Under Article 4(5) of Romanian Law no. 506/2004 (transposing the ePrivacy Directive), storing information on your device is allowed only with your consent, except for cookies that are strictly necessary to provide a service you have explicitly requested or to transmit a communication. Therefore:
- strictly necessary cookies are set without consent, on the basis of our legitimate interest in ensuring the operation and security of the Platform (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR);
- marketing cookies are set only after you have clicked "Accept" in the cookie banner (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
4. Categories of cookies used
- Strictly necessary / functional: logging in to the partner account, the shopping cart, remembering your cookie choice, language, protection of the registration form. Without them the Platform cannot work.
- Internal analytics (first-party): the visitor identifier and the source of the visit, used to understand which products interest partners and to measure the effectiveness of our campaigns. These data remain on our servers and are not passed on to third parties.
- Marketing: Meta Pixel — only with your consent.
The Platform does not currently use Google Analytics, Google Ads or any other advertising tools apart from those listed below.

7. Third-party cookies

In addition to the cookies above, Meta may use its own cookies on its domains (e.g. facebook.com) in accordance with its cookie policy. Browsing events are also sent to Meta from our server (Conversions API), again only if you have given your consent; contact data are transmitted only in irreversibly encrypted form (SHA-256 hash).
YouTube videos: some product pages contain videos hosted on YouTube (Google Ireland Ltd.). The player is loaded in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) and only after you click on the video; from that moment YouTube may store information in your browser in accordance with Google's policy.
8. How to give and withdraw consent
On your first visit, the cookie banner lets you accept or refuse marketing cookies. Refusing does not affect your use of the Platform. Your choice is kept for 12 months, after which you will be asked again.
You can change your choice at any time using the "Change cookie settings" button at the end of this page: the banner reappears and you can choose again. After you withdraw consent, Meta Pixel no longer collects new data; you can delete cookies that have already been set from your browser settings.
9. Browser settings
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings (usually under Settings › Privacy and security). Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent you from logging in, keeping your cart or placing orders. 10. Your rights
Insofar as personal data are processed through cookies, you have all the rights described in the Privacy Policy (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent) and the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP), www.dataprotection.ro, or with the supervisory authority of your Member State.
11. Changes
